This is for me the best lunch spot in town. Where can you get 3 course cooked fresh under £15??! The service is friendly, everything is sourced locally. They have this lovely french wine as a White House wine. One of my fave place in aberdeen.

Came with a group of friends. The service from the waiters was ideal, we were well looked after. The food from the set menu (as we were a large table) was brought out altogether, was hot and delicious. I would recommend for a special evening out.

A good place to enjoy a really nice meal. Friendly and service minded people and a dish to remember from our recent visit to Aberdeen. Fish is my favourite eating out and it was a great experience this time also.

We have been here a few times. The food is very good, and a good choice is available. Decent wine and beer on offer too. I expect we'll be back, and woudl be happy at the prospect.

Visited with some friends. For a starter I chose the Haggis neeps & Tatties, yes for a starter. It was well presented and was a starter portion with a little cornell of each, tasted good. For the main I had the duck, there was a lot of it, the portion size while not absolutely huge was generous, it was well... More

We had the lunch menu (two courses; starter and main dish) for 11 £. Everything was tasty and quality. Especially mussels were outstanding. Would recommend this place for all those who want quality local food!

Visited Howie's for Friday Lunch and we both chose Haddock, pea puree and chips, boy was it good and freshly cooked to order. Followed by sticky toffee pudding that was to die for. Prices are reasonably for lunch and to be honest far better than so called chain restaurants . Firmly recommended for lunch or evening meal nts

I hadn't been to Howie's before and I liked what I saw, once you venture inside - from the outside you might mistake it for a bar. We ate from a set menu and there were plenty of appealing menu items. Portions were generous and I loved my meal. However, they served a starter which contained allergens one of our... More

Have been to Howies on a few visits to Aberdeen, and normally brilliant. However on this visit for dinner at 7.30 , they had no side dish of sprouts, bacon and walnuts.... No trifle... and no cream for Irish coffee, which is rather poor in my opinion. Surely someone could nip to the shop for cream at least. The substitute... More

Had a beautiful meal , excellent value for money and delicious well presented food. 2 courses for 10.95 or 3 for 13.95 . Plenty of choice on all courses. I had mussels cooked in white wine and cream followed by Pan fried sea bream with wilted spinach and dauphnois mash so so good . There was also chicken , salmon... More
