A gem of a place - kept in tip-top condition by it's excellent staff. Jack, the landlord, is a proper gentleman who runs a tight ship. We received exactly the sort of welcome you'd dream of when we moved into the village.
There's plenty of...space to allow the sports fans room to shout at the TV, barflies to prop up the bar up and quiet corners to slip into out of the way. Even the outdoor smoking area is warm, dry and spacious.
Be forewarned that it is a place that plays a lot of Country & Western music - both on the stereo and live by various visiting performers.More
I have been to the whistlers Inn a few times. It has Very friendly staff and the food is great. Friendly atmosphere, friendly staff and a very great place to go on a Saturday night with a very friendly crowd and fantastic music. Hoghly recommended
This is a friendly pub not far from home, the staff are attentive and the food amazing. There is a conservatory if you prefer to sit there and look out to the countryside or there are tables in the main building best place to sit...on a cold day is beside 1 of the 2 fires lit in the pub. We love visiting The Whistlers Inn and no doubt will be visiting again.More
