The staff were polite and friendly. The atmosphere was just right with plenty of people enjoying themselves. Glad the guy at the Holiday Inn recommend to eat here. The food was delicious and there was plenty to eat. Would definitely eat here again. We eat...on Sunday & Monday evening’s.More

Browns and Browns in the Town are usually my go-to restaurants in Derry. However, on this occasion Fathers Day, the food was disappointingly very average.

Excellent service and food was fresh, local and top quality. I can’t wait to come back to the restaurant and try the other dishes on the menu.

Went for birthday meal. Had looked at menu online before arriving to restaurant so had an idea of what to order. Table beside was ordering and only then were they notified that there were no burgers left on the menu. They were disappointed and so...was my partner as we had heard good reviews about the burger and that’s what he was planning to order. Partner ordered fish of the day and I ordered sugar pit pork. Both were lovely. Orange brûlée for dessert was beautiful but the chocolate chip cookie was hard as a rock. Would love to go back again and try the burger that my partner had originally planned to get!More

We chose this place based on reviews and weren’t disappointed. Service was quick and exemplary. Food was very nice and well priced for the quality. We’d come here again.

The food was great. Sadly a few of the waiting team appeared less than happy to be there. Our food was abruptly out on our table without any comment like “enjoy your meal”, no smile was evident and no-one came to check that our meals...were ok.More

Was here for a business event. This was the first time I've ate in Browns and, after this experience, it won't be the last. Our server (who I didn't gets name but I think she may have been a supervisor) was excellent. She recommended the...pickled onion rings as a side for our party which were a game changer. One of our party also asked the details of the cheeses that were included in the cheeseboard and she went and got these without any trouble. Brilliant example of going above and beyond. The food was equally as impressive as the service. The scallops were fantastic, as was the lamb. I will definitely be back for a leisure experience.More

The concierge at our hotel recommended Browns for a late lunch. It was not crowded, Service was excellent and cordial. We each had seafood chowder with Guinness bread and creamy butter followed by grilled hake served on a bed of wilted greens, peas, and a...cream sauce and topped by delicious pesto. My friend had a side of fries and I had a salad. All were wonderful. Our waitress divided the bill for us and was happy to receive separate payment. Best meal I’ve had in my 2 weeks in Ireland and I’ve had some very good meals. Reservations recommended but not required.More
