The food is very good here! The restaurant carries the trademarks of Brown's dining, however the downside we have found on multiple visits is the restaurant has been quite cold and almost drafty (feel cold air at hour legs) which is quite off putting when deciding where to eat! It would be all the better if the restaurant was a... More

Went to Browns in the town just before, unfortunately the service was poor, if the restaurant was busy I could understand slow service but is wasn't we were a group so while some got their mains others were slow in getting theirs in my case my sled came first and about 5 minutes later my main dish came, at this... Recently I've only been for the fantastic lunch deal but dinner was not a disappointment. The dark chocolate fondant is not to be missed. I especially liked that they did carafes of a range of wines and not just the usual suspects.

We arrived without a reservation and were received gracefully and seated immediately. We elected for the two course lunch at £12.00pp. The starter of Thai curried Mulroy Bay Mussels was both exceptional and a generous portion. Fish of the day was Greencastle Cod was sensational. My only wish is that I could return soon. Alas, sadly it will be some... More

First time in a number of years to eat here and was only because we were going along with friends. Was I so glad we did. Great choice on their part and will definitely become a regular for us. The food was amazing - chowder starter for my husband and poached 🍐 salad for me, followed by a burger for... More

My family and I dined at this restaurant on Saturday 10th December and as we expected (we have visited Browns in Town and Browns Champagne Lounge many times) we had a nice meal. However, I wanted to write a review to express my disappointment with one aspect of the customer service. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with the on-line... More

This was our first visit to Browns in Town and won't be our last. We popped in on the off chance for lunch and waited for a table. They were busy with Christmas parties and we were glad to get taken. We went for the 2 course lunch which was excellent value. The OH ordered the venison burger which was... More

Four of us visited this popular venue for pare theatre meal. The staff were cheerful and very helpful The menu was fried and appetising. We has 4 different meals including desert and were universally pleased. We also tried some unusual white wine from Georgia - very good. We would recommend this restaurant to your readers.

Twelve of us enjoyed an excellent dinner at Browns in Town on the Strand Road in Derry. The food, wine and service were all exceptionally good. Will certainly return soon.
