Best place ever for afternoon tea. Price is so good for what you get. Everything is fresh and sandwiches are outstanding. Have traveled down from carrickfergus a number of times specifically to go here, and the seaweed baths. Highly recommend!

Pre Crowd, post Christmas Coffee in the Cosy Corner of OB ~ Perfect, as usual. Outstanding Food, Friendly Staff, Homely and Community feel, Quirkiness, make this a must for locals and visitors. (Though maybe I should say that it is a really rubbish place to keep you away!!)

Charming Decor, Friendliy Service and Excellent food. I have been to Olive Bizarre many over the past 5 years. It is always a welcoming place for Breakfast, Lunch and sometimes Dinner (Bistro Nights) and of course coffee and the best tea around.

Great spot to grab some breakfast in the morning. Also good sandwiches, soups and baked treats as well. My fiancee and I ate here nearly every morning during our stay in Newcastle.

A lovely quaint cafe with lovely and tasty cupcakes and everything was very well done. The staff were lovely food was very well made and very tasty. They could improve on having a rule were no dogs are allowed in because when I was there there was a local with a big dos next to my table

My family and I love coming to Olive Bizarre. The food is always fresh and delicious as are the coffee and buns. The menu is different and stands out from many of the surrounding local cafes which makes it a favourite with us. Great atmosphere and the staff couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

What a fabulous find! My husband and I had afternoon tea for two. We chose our sandwiches which were burstng with filling. The cake stand was jampacked with a fantastic array of scones, traybakes and buns. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The cafe was decorated in a quirky way and the teapots all had beautiful cosies. I would... More

Olive Bizarre is a delicious little spot in the harbour area of the town. You can enjoy exquisite teas/coffees with goodies galore and a view to die for. Our afternoon tea is highly recommended and our traybakes and scones will not fail to please. We have a vast range of savoury dishes and provide an array of gluten free and vegetarian foods. Our child friendly policy is also popular and to top it all our friendly team will make you feel very welcome. See you soon. John and Ciaraxox
