We arranged a surprise for a friend’s special birthday in this charming cafe. The Lamppost team were all really helpful and friendly, the food was excellent but Victoria deserves a special thanks for keeping the secret and making everything go so well

Visited here for the first time today and will definitely be back. Great to be able to bring the dog. They provided some water and treats for her, which was much appreciated. The coffee and traybakes were tasty too.

Just called in here as I was in the area. This place is definitely quirky and ‘oldy worldy’. Love the music they had playing, possibly 30s or 40s, but lovely, not like the loud horrible pop music that you hear a lot today. It has...More

Popped in for a tea accompanied with a sausage and egg roll. My wife had tea and a scone. Lovely decor and ambience with 40’s jazz and big band music playing in the background. The tableware was superb with butter, cream and jam all coming...More

I’ve been here a few times now. Staff are always very friendly. Food has always been good. Quirky spot, very child friendly and dog friendly. I have no complaints and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I visited here for Sunday brunch. Its a really cool place and its nod to CS Lewis and the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is very evident! The decor is really special. The breakfast menu was very extensive. I opted for the Mr. Tomnus...More
