This is a pearl of a pub, but always full, so I recommend booking a booth atleast 24 hours in advance.

This place is dripping with history, but has a wonderful kitchen as well. We both had fish sandwiches and the bread was homemade, the fish was so light and well cooked. And heavenly fat fries...We even indulged in the trio dessert plate to share: profiteroles,...More

If you enjoy traditional pubs with great atmosphere and great beers then the Crown is a must visit. The internals have hardly changed throughout the years, it just exudes tradition and an aura from bygone years; a passage in time. The beers are still good...More

Popped in for a pint about noon so we were able to sit in a snug without a reservation which seem to start about 1 pm (Sat). Beautiful example of Victorian architecture.

If you want to experience a step back in time go in here and see the old snugs as they used to be. Certainly unique and a great palace to have a pint - located smack bang in the middle of Belfast.

I had friends over from mainland Europe and I thought that the Crown Bar would be the perfect place to take them for a meal. The decor of the bar downstairs was lovely, we were upstairs which was still nice but not as unique as...More

Unique pub in centre of town. Couldn't really miss this because of its atmosphere alone. Four of us enjoyed drinks in a booth and made friends with a Australian couple already in there. The Guiness was soooo much better than here at home. Enjoyed a...More

As it’s a historical building run by the National Trust I believe. I would recommend just turning up at opening time which is 11am and go in, it was empty when we got there on a Friday. It’s a fabulous place but the food is... More

Yes, it had street access but not sure if there is wheelchair access to the booths. Take her anyway as it’s lovely.

I was there on a weekday afternoon and there was no wait to sit in the upstairs dining area. I was seated right away but, there was only 1 guy working the whole room,,, so service was not that great.
