The staff at Neills Hill were so welcoming and accommodating when I was there yesterday for lunch with my mum and my 1 year old daughter. They couldn't do enough for us. Lovely atmosphere and nice food. Definitely recommend for family visits. But it's also...More

Good atmosphere and service on a Tuesday lunchtime. it was not too busy and we had a simple lunch of Hot Brisket sandwich with pickles (delicious) and garlic prawns (lovely). Good prices - meal with 2 coffees for under £20.

We visited for the Sunday Carvery. The food was delicious, very tasty and extremely generous. We took some home! The staff were wonderfully friendly and the whole experience was like having a home cooked Sunday lunch but without the hassle!

Four of us had the carvery. Delicious. I would definitely recommend the carvery at Neil's hill. Service on point too. £14.50pp for a generous portion of beef/turkey/pork, roast potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, mash and gravy. Very tasty and filling.

Food ok but severe quantity control? First time rib eye stake costs more than sirloin and cit contained bits of gristle. Not as good as they perceive themselves to be!

We used to celebrate our birthdays in Neil's Hill for years and unfortunately this time we were very disappointed by the service. Something changed and atmosphere was not the same. We were waiting for our waiter for 20 minutes, nobody offered us a drink or...More

Younger staff are absolutely lovely although had a few problems with the owner? Most of the food is well price for quality, recommend the duck for main but I feel the chef should re think the pâté recipe
