We visited last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by Joanne who was super friendly and gave us the best seat in the house. Aoife looked after our food and drinks order and was fantastic. The food, service and whole experience from...start to finish was just beautiful!! Darryl the duty manager went above and beyond to help make our night memorable! We cannot wait to visit again! Well done to you all!!More

Dined here on a Sunday evening. The covid measures were immediately obvious with hand sanitiser at the door, staff all wearing visors and clear screening between every table. Service was very friendly and attentive. Food was of a high standard, the only minor negative was...that the sweet potato fries were a tad overdone. The tuna steak was very tasty as were the mussels to start. Overall, a lovely experience.More

I have ate in Stix several times over the last few years and it gets better each time. The recently refurbished restaurant has a cosy and warming atmosphere. A warm and smiling welcoming as you walk in. Had a lovely table by the window. They...have really taken precautions with covid as tables side by side have glass partitions and all staff are wearing visors and the chefs are wearing masks. I always have the muscles to start the garlic and white wine sauce is incredible. I opted for the Christmas turkey and ham this time and was not disappointed it was so tasty and not dry at all. We also tried the white chocolate martini and it was so good. All in all 10/10 for an excellent overall experience. Can't wait to get back ☺️More

Food, service, ambience, all faultless. Great shame that they're so greedy with their wine prices. I expect places to make a profit, but to sell a bottle of wine to me at £27.50 which I can buy for £11 up the street, is IMHO, greedy.

The ambience and the reception in this restaurant is very welcoming. The food is gorgeous, the steak is served on a stone which is a great way to cook your steak to your liking, staff were friendly and we felt comfortable with all the covid...precautions in place. Will be visiting again.More

What a fantastic experience we just had at Stix and Stones. What really stood out wasn’t the meat which was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife, nor the super tasty Gubeen croquettes (which are a must for the combination of onion...relish and smoked cheese), nor even the fun of cooking your steak as you would like on the stones - instead it was the phenomenal service and warm welcome we received. We were accommodated even though we showed up with three instead of two we booked for. Nothing was too much trouble and food arrived quickly. Our waitress, Chloe, was everything you would want - polite, informative, helpful - really taking time to explain to our son how it all worked. Flawless service is why we will make this a restaurant we return to again and again.More

We visited here on a Tuesday night in October. We had booked in advance and our table was ready on arrival. We were warmly welcomed and everything was explained when we sat down. We ordered steaks to be cooked at the table on the hot...stone along with the sea bass. The food was absolutely excellent and we enjoyed doing the steaks at the table. Our waiter was also great and made our experience perfect. The COVID guidelines were also adhered to and we felt in a safe environment. All in all we had an excellent night and would definitely recommend.More

I took my fiancé here for a surprise birthday party. Firstly, the staff were beyond lovely - very welcoming, funny, attentive. We had Thomas as our allocated waiter and he was more than helpful and checked up on us just enough to ensure everything was...okay for us. The two boys got steaks, my friend had the beef and I had the duck - everyone agreed the food was flawless. Beautifully cooked and presented. To finish off we had a lovely desert - they presented a birthday slate as we which was a lovely touch to once more surprise my Mr. I would like to add that seeing the staff so happy and having a laugh together really made for a welcoming atmosphere - they clearly enjoy their work! We all really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and staff! Thank you again to Thomas for everything he did for us! A great waiter with a great attitude!More

Everything was faultless. We were 15 minutes late and the lady was very understanding when we turned up. It wasn't a problem. Our waiter Pablo was a great chap. Very friendly, and his recommendations were spot on. Thanks again Pablo Aaron and Jess
