I have eaten in this small restaurant on a number of occasions and never been disappointed. The menu is unusual with a limited number of dishes. On my last visit, I really enjoyed the tasty battered haddock. My wife thoroughly enjoyed baked cod. The service...More

I came here after having read online about the great brunch. I ordered an eggs benedict, and the hollandaise sauce was unfortunately not very tasty. It did not taste homemade. The staff was very friendly and the cakes looked very good, if I would go...More

Despite the name, the menu wasn't particularly French. I had the battered haddock from the dinner menu and it was one of the tastiest pieces of fish I've had for ages. The batter was wonderfully light and not at all greasy. The "triple cooked" chips...More

Great selection of paninis; would highly recommend Pastrami, ham and gherkins one. It was refreshing to see a cafe that doesn't do huge coffees; coffees were a nice size. The staff are very hard working as it is a very busy place; hopefully they are...More

Not sure why other reviews are complaining about the service, it was excellent for us. We came for breakfast, the waitress promptly arrived to take our order and we were quickly served. The food was really good and I enjoyed the laid-back and cosy atmosphere....More

Food was nice when I eventually received it, but was really put off by the fact you almost need a neon sign, flashing and saying HUNGRY before anyone comes near you. Like the place isn’t that big what takes so long?!?!!
