All freshly prepared food in a very clean and superbly run restaurant. The fish is outstanding as are the freshly cut chips. The kids enjoyed the battered sausages and pasties too. Great and super efficient staff. Best fish & chips around, try it !

Quite possibly the best fish and chips I have had well....ever! This place has been around for a long time now they have certainly mastered the art of doing really good fish and chips. The mushy peas and bread on the side makes this plate perfection.

Went here as part of a Trafalgar tour. Maybe because something like 25 of us showed up at once, I was not so impressed with the fish and chips. The fish was crispy-ish, but the breading slid off very easily. The fish itself was very fresh and mild tasting. Chips (fries to the rest of us) were not bad. Peas... More

Best fish and chips not only in Belfast, but the world. Our family came from New Jersey to visit Belfast and no one from the United States should miss the great food at John Long's. A must visit or you haven't been to Belfast.

This was the best fish & Chips in Belfast! Food was fantastic, as was the service! The batter on the fish was thin and light - perfect! Chips were excellent as well. The restaurant is in an out-of-the way area, close to the Europa hotel, but definitely worth the trip!

• Coming from Wisconsin in the USA we have learned the fine appreciation of a good Friday night fish fry. Well let me tell you about John Longs Fish & Chips. We were there tonight for their famous fish and chips dinner. They use the finest quality Haddock fish available. It is harvested with 24 to 48 hours before reaching... More
