Had a band on upstairs which was good followed by a DJ. Bar prices where quite expensive. Could be a great night but too many sleazy guys which spoiled it a bit

I was in Brennan's on 15th. Admittedly I did not have the prawns buy my partner did. Pleased to say there were no ill effects. To the best of my knowledge, you know if you are eating dodgy prawns: Taste and smell give the game away immediately. We had a great evening and night. Good wholesome pub grub all washed... More

strange that Tripadvisor allow an open question to be posted from users but no way to reply, so will just post my own review in response to user Kelndib below. I was also here on 15th Jan with friends to watch football, since we find this bar to be best out of the 3 situated beside each other. I had... More

Visited this bar as the Crown was shut due to a leak, glad we did, made to feel at home and enjoyed a proper drink in a proper pub.. all afternoon

Arrived about 9pm on a Friday & a DJ was playing oldies (mostly 80s hits) & the crowd were singing along. Mostly an older crowd - great atmosphere. At 10 a traditional band came on, but didn't just play old Irish songs - their versions of Teenage Kicks & Fairytale of New York brought the house down. They also played... More

Stopped by for lunch and had steak and Guinness pie and fish and chips; both very good. The steak and Guinness pie, though tasty, was not as good as the one we had across the street at Robinsons. The clientele is friendly as is the staff. Service is much, much better here than at Robinsons! The Sunday we were at... More

I am in Brennans quite regularly and while it may not be the cleanest bar and the toilets always smell, the atmosphere in it is always good and the food is lovely. It did not disappoint this week when approx. 15 of us had a Christmas dinner here. Service was good and food was fab and reasonably priced. Brennans is... More

Called in for a drink while waiting on friends from the train station. The female working was incredibly rude. Won't be back.

Popped into Brennan's Bar for a drink and decided to have lunch while we were there. This is a great little bar in Belfast. As we walked in we were greeted straight away by the waiter and he showed us to a table by a roaring fire. The menu is good pub food and it was delicious. A bit disappointed... More

Food here is good and more than enough to fill you up. There are specials on blackboard behind bar. Menu covers most tastes and drinks reasonably priced for city centre. Lively bar showing sport and does entertainment too. Bookmakers next door for a bet or two. nice old style interior. Only downside was that the waitress was a little unpleasant... More
