Generally great staff. Quirky interior. Good menu with some very interesting specials. Strict no children policy which I appreciate. Really worth a visit.

Hello "Katey660" Good to have your realistic approval. Just bit of knowledge for your good self on the "policy" mention. The absence of any person under the age of 18 not just kiddies is the legal requirement as under THE LICENSING ORDER 1996 (N.I.). It is possibly that due to the dilution of enforcement of the liquor licensing laws across... More

Lovely wee visit, nice atmosphere and lots of interesting things to look at. Place was very very understaffed, took awhile to place our order and get drinks but when the food arrived it was worth the wait! Good variety on the menu and portion sizes are very generous - nice little spot that's out of the way! Great view from... More

Thank you "foodiegirl92" for your comments on and about our wee country pub. Be assured your observation re the speed or lack of it / attention regarding the personnel on duty during your visit is a most welcome input, so ta very much for that. Went here for birthday dinner with friends on the basis that I enjoyed lunch here about a year ago. Remembering how lovely that was at the time I looked up their dinner menu on the website which I found very appealing and promptly made a booking. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and given the menu when seated.... More

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF INSERTION ENTITLED "Very Disappointing!!". Well "Deirdre C" it looks as though you had a crap night on Saturday past being the 14th January 2017. The truly valid point you make regarding the website menu offering bearing little resemblance to the actual menus we provide at present is indeed an undeniable fact. Two factors came into play on this... More

This review is accurate on the location comment coupled to non too stressful parking of the motoring vehicles at Bob's nestling up in Drumbeg at the top of the Upper Malone Road. The friendly staff observation is on the dosh (at least 90% of the time), you know the sort of thing " how ye doin"-- "hold on give me... More

Booked a table for 5pm in a quaint old pub setting at Robert Stewarts. We arrived and were shown to our table. As I have a severe fish allergy advised the waitress of my allergy. She responded by saying 'you shouldn't be eating out' and by raising her hands to her face said 'you'll puff out'. To which I responded... More

Well Caroline K greetings. Just not too sure about the "we're obviously not wanted" line. The bulk of your Pulitzer Prize winning piece is your take /opinion on your Whirling Dervish style visit. The only FACT that can be stood over is that a few hours earlier when you made the dining reservation via the old telephone we discovered upon... More

Had a nice meal here with parents at the weekend and service was great. Food is reasonably priced and like anywhere I think it is the drink that bumps up the bill. I always have the fajatas here and you get plenty to eat. The size of fish that one of others had was huge. Great portion sizes all round.... More

Called in last night after a long absence. Dining area was warm and we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to a table by the fire. Description
ROBERT STEWARTS SPIRIT GROCERS is located on a narrow country road that threads its way out of the leafy glades of south Belfast via the Upper Malone precinct. The road continues onwards in the general direction to the town of Lisburn which in recent years was decreed a CITY. The actual premises is a primarily two zone affair.A public bar of which no decent pub should be devoid of. This coupled to a nooks and crannies lounge bar handsomely ajoined with a slightly more formal dinning facility called the company room.
