The Barking Dog is a really unique restaurant and one of the best in Belfast (if not the best!) because it feels relaxed but also has a very high standard of food and service. The chef is first class. It has become our family and...More

My two daughters and myself went to this restaurant and we were very disappointed in the food - pretty average and very small portions. The lamb was very fatty, the cripsy beef was horrible and wouldn't have filled a hole in your back tooth, the...More

Had a great eating experience at the barking dog. Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere. They had a separate gluten free menu with all the gluten free options, a stress free night. Is fast becoming my favourite restaurant in Belfast!!

We recently held a 30th b'day party at the Barking Dog, for a party of 17 people. Often, with such a large number, service and food quality could be compromised. However, the Barking Dog excelled throughout. The food was punctual, perfectly cooked, great portions and...More

The Shin burger was a fine offering, but almost defeated me! Good wines, nice atmosphere. Romantic potential.
