When visiting our granddaughter who is studying at Swansea University, we offered to take her and her boyfriend for a meal at a restaurant of their choice. We had never been to Ask before, but they had ,and I must say it proved to be a very good choice, and we all enjoyed our meals. The young people chose pizzas,... More

We've booked a table at the restaurant on Saturday to celebrate my wife's 50th b'day. Rob, the manager, made us feel very welcome as soon as we stepped in. The restaurant looked busy but Rob took us straight to our table and not having to wait at all which is fantastic. As soon as we sat down we were greeted... More

No Calamari... No Large Peroni's so small bottles bought at a premium price... Warm beer and cider at the end of the evening... Service average... Food average at best... This will be my first and last visit to any Ask Italian restaurants...

Booked online for birthday family meal party of 8. Weren't happy with original choice of tables as they'd only allowed for 6 and tried sticking a small table on the end. That was where the negatives end as Zoe, our waitress, seated us elsewhere and did everything she could to make sure the evening was a success. 3 hours later... More

We visited on a Sunday night quite early in the evening so the restaurant wasn't overly busy. There was a party of people in, but plenty of spare tables. We were greeted by a waitress who showed very little people skills. The food was delivered promptly and was reasonably good. However, we were not impressed when our wine was brought... More

Visited Ask Italian in Swansea with my partner a couple of times and each time we've been here we have had lovely food. I've had a pizza and the lasagna and both were lovely. The atmosphere was great, service was great and food cooked beautifully. Will definitely return again in future!

This is my friends favourite restaurant (primarily because she absolutely loves the waiting staff here as they've always gone above and beyond to make her visits special) so we came as a group of 4 for her 30th. As soon as she was recognised as a regular and that it was her birthday, she was treated to a bottle of... More

Walked in at 8:45pm on a Wednesday evening and were greeted by a very stressed Waitress. We were quite aggressively told that a waiter had left early due to having an upset stomach so she couldn't take any more people in. Not even the two of us. She was clearly under stress and this showed but we were quite taken... More

I would have given 0 stars if I could. Ordered the Seabass Al Forno whick came with god knows how much black speckled oil all over my plate. I wacwith my son and daughter and really wanted to hand it back as inedible. But not to embarrass them i wiped the oil off with two serviettes and ate the fish.... More

Good afternoon, I'm really disappointed to hear about this - it's very much not the sort of impression we want to give at any time, never mind your first visit. I know that the team themselves are very sorry to read about this too, and we'd love to discuss this a little further with you to see if we can... More

Having previously been underwhelmed by a visit to Ask in another town, we weren't too sure about eating here, but we needn't have worried. Our waiter was excellent, the atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing, and the food was beautifully cooked. The house wine was also excellent. Ask Swansea has changed my mind!
