Spent a lovely relaxing lunch with friends and our dogs at The Bell Inn today. The food was excellent, everyone was so friendly and dogs are truly welcome in the bar. Not only were the three dogs offered water and dog biscuits they were given homemade port scratchings and a little meat. Unfortunately my friends dog ate something too fast and... More

A party of 15/17 approx. We arrived in mass, the pub was ready and the ales were there to. E tested. You could tell the staff were experienced and up for providing an experience. That was the case.... Helpful, courteous and obliging ✔️ The food was excellent. I had a Sunday lunch like the rest of the party, opting for... More

We visited here recently as per a review we read which was glowing. Sadly it didn't live up to all expectation as there were a couple a miss but the food was good and well presented. We would be keen to try an evening meal when they aren't so busy.

We have visited the Bell Inn a few times over the last few years. We normally like to dine close to Celtic Manor and away from Cardiff city centre. We like the pub's atmosphere and food but I have to say I was a little disappointed with last night's meal. The garlic mushrooms was served with a tiny piece of... More

I grew up in the village close to The Bell and love to visit when I'm in the area. We booked a table for Sunday lunch and weren't disappointed. Good, honest food, generous portions, reasonable prices, friendly, helpful staff....what more could you want. I will definitely being going again next time I'm in Caerleon.

Come here every year when visiting family. New lunchtime menu was very good. Separate kids and vegetarian menus. Triple cooked chips amazing. Pepper sauce which I normally avoid was excellent. Only downside was quite a bit of dog poo in top car park and a small dog in the pub constantly barking.

My family and I booked The Bell for Sunday lunch. It has recently had new owners and we went with high expectations. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. A good section of starters, try the garlic mushrooms. Yum! Slow cooked pork belly and crackling was mouth watering. Beef and lamb excellent too. Plenty of gravy and extra veg.... More

We drink and eat here on and off and have done so over the last five years with very mixed results but we love it still. So, new tenants have taken over this lovely pub and I wish them well. But... to serve Jack Rabbit wine and no care in serving any decent local beers or cider leaves me slightly... More
