Came here for a family members birthday. I had the fillet steak, it was gorgeous! All the food is so fresh. Our food took a while to come but it was quite busy that night. The two men that are behind the bar and the food part are so lovely and funny. It has a lovey atmosphere. The only thing... More

This is the only restaurant I know where a staff member has opened the door for me every time I've visited! The service is always nice, though they can get busy, so if you can go at a quieter time then you'll get slightly more attentive service. Prices are reasonable and food is very nice - it's lovely to be... More

Returned here last week for a meal with special friends from York. They were blown away by the buzzing atmosphere , fab fresh meat and fish and overall quality of experience. We had a selection of starters; King Prawns ,Spicy Chicken Wings, home made Fish Cakes in curried sauce ,Whitebait , Goujons of Salmon and spicy Chorizo. .Our guests were... More

Not impressed.... The indifference of the guy taking the order behind the meat/fish counter really got to me. No patience and basically didn't give a crap if I was there or not, he probably would rather work in a tyre bay. The main component of the dish was fine but tge sides were very basic. The Spanish waiter was the... More

Went to El Prado for Valentines Day and yet again the meal was great. I had the Hake which is always a winner and my Wife had the Salmon. The food always looks so fresh and it's great to be able to choose the meat or fish you want from the counter. The staff are always friendly and our family... More

Unhelpful staff, an owner who doesn't appear to listen to what the customer is saying, poor standard of food that lacked any finesse and a bill that was totally inaccurate and contained items that we did not have. When displayed in the chiller cabinet the food looks great but it seems to recede to the 1970s by the time it... More

This place is a great find and very close to Bridgend. Easily found just off the M4 via A48. We ate last night (Thursday) and was pleasantly surprised! Can't really fault this place and we'll be visiting again. Others seem to think the same because it was busy and had a good energy. Even though it was busy, the staff... More

I have been to this restaurant before and had good meals. This time it was their lunchtime special menu which was 2 courses £12.95 . For starters I had the fish cakes Barbados this although small delicious and we'll presented. For the main I chose the sirloin steak which came with veg and chips. This was I'd say average in...
