My friend and I were recommended this restaurant by the landlord of the B&B we were staying at a few miles away. We popped in to see the menu and were surprised by how big it was so we booked for that night. From 7-9pm the menu is Tex-Mex and it was superb. The first night we opted for the... More

Over the past few years I have been to the Honey Cafe many times. I have never been disappointed, what a little gem. The staff are unfailingly polite and friendly, no matter how busy they are. The food has always been good, whether I've had a cooked Sunday dinner, brunch, breakfast, or a lighter meal like jacket potato. As a... More

I have visited the Honey Cafe a few times and just love it!! The food is freshly cooked, the gourmet burgers are amazing and vary in flavour there are so many to choose from! The prices are average but the portions are generous, we never leave hungry! The homage deserts are delicious and beautifully presented. I am quite often full... More

A fair veggie breakfast - not keen on the tomatoes though. Not massive so if you're after a gut buster go elsewhere. £7.50 for a veggie breakfast including tea or coffee so a little on the steep side.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through. I had the veggie burger. It was good I was just getting tired of fried foods after eating at pubs for several days. We also shared the strawberry roulade which was very good.

We went to the Honey Cafe on a Friday night, for our evening meal. We'd visited the cafe before around three years ago and enjoyed the cake and teas, sitting outside taking in the view. I'd advise you to not bother going unless it is for a cake/tea quickly as the most recent experience was awful. The menu provided to... More

Called in on a Tuesday night with 7 others. Had a lovely range of cakes and main courses. Everything looked absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly, and quick service. Didn't know this little gem existed but will definitely be back!

My friend & I visited her for lunch on a Saturday. It was very busy but we managed to find a table in the bar area. Menu was OK..not much for a vegetarian like myself so I decided on the cheese salad which at £10 was way overpriced for the plate of food I was served. The service was bland...... More

Stopped in on the way to Brecon today and went for the all day breakfast option. The best breakfast I've had , possibly ever . Everything was perfectly cooked fresh and hot. Definetly be going again,

Came here with a group of 12, all arriving individually. Using a base for driving day, we had breakfast, lunch, and tea! The staff coped so well with our individual orders, and arrival times. Orders taken by name made for a really personal approach, and any hiccups dealt with really well - possibly accent problems as we came over bridge.... More
