Olif is a Welsh tapas bar with boutique rooms in Betws Y Coed, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. We serve a Welsh-themed tapas menu, delivering a fusion of Welsh and Spanish small plates which we’re sure everyone will love. Aside from our juicy Gordal olives from Seville, we try to source all of our produce locally. From our customer feedback, we know that our commitment to using locally produced food which is cooked fresh each day (the only thing you’ll find in our freezer is ice cream and ice cubes!) makes a big difference to the quality and taste of our food. Fabulous anniversary meal

We returned to Olif to celebrate our wedding anniversary, including of course a meal in the restaurant for the big day. The food was fabulous, from the selection of breads to start, the tapas... oh those Anglesey eggs through to dessert, every dish was piping...hot, tasty and beautifully cooked by the chef and owner Aubrey. My pudding of brownies with ice cream was gorgeous. I had to take hubby to take a photo of my face while stuffing this down my neck. 10 out of 10 for covid safety, friendliness and caring staff. Highly recommend the fantastic range of gins and Welsh beers on offer. I feel I must also mention the breakfast, local produce, oh those mushroom and bacon. yum yum. The fruit salad was lovely too.More

Brilliant stay at Olif, rooms

Brilliant stay at Olif, rooms are lovely, staff are great and the breakfast is probably the best I’ve ever had. Evening meal lovely and is covid safe. Will stay here again.

Great food, the slow cooked

Great food, the slow cooked beef was amazing. The service was great and so was the atmosphere. Definitely worth it’s no.1 ranking in betws-y-coed.

Highly recommended

Absolutely lovely. Last minute booking for tapas for two. Cosy atmosphere with attentive and friendly staff. Pink sangria was lush like liquid candy floss. The food was also amazing washed down with a bottle of red. I can’t recommend Olif highly enough. What an asset...to Betws y Coed.More

Amazing local tapas

Last minute booking in the middle of local lockdown. Absolutely fantastic! They had made such an effort to be covid safe it felt good from the first welcome. Food was perfect - even the moody teenage boy was praising his food 24 hours later!

Sunday lunch

Amazing Sunday lunch beef was amazing roasties crisp and fresh vegetables plentiful and fresh extra gravy it was the best and we had a bowl of the best stuffing ever along with homemade Yorkshire pudding, will definitely be going back

Delicious food

Easy online booking system, lovely staff, nice hand sanitizer, tables well spaced out, staff wearing face coverings, delicious food and good sized tapas. Menu to be looked up on your phone-thank you for helping the enviornment! Would highly recommend and eat heere again.

Tapas

Service was quick and there were some veggie options which was good but most of the food had too much salt in it. The restaurant has tried to partition people so that it’s safer during the pandemic. Booking required and the menu is online.
