Here at Betwys y coed for a weekend. Llugwy looked good & had good reviews. So, here's another one! We were served by the supervisor, smooth service and helpful food delicious amuse bouche an excellent appetiser duck breast beautiful olive oil cake light and full of flavour. The Merlot was full bodied. Go otherwise you'll miss a treat. Or don't... More

Very warm welcome to an attractive dining area. We were shown to a table and looked after very well throughout our meal by the same friendly and attentive waitress (sorry I did not make note of her name). The food was very tasty and it was good to note that it was sourced locally. We will certainly return here on... More

Went last week with wife, got suckered in by the £20 for 2 steaks and a bottle of wine promotion on our first night ion the village. Well, what can you expect for that money?! Leathery, overcooked slices of cheap steak, cheapy-cheap wine, the sort of stuff Tesco knocks out for a fiver, or less. But - hey - you... More

Warm atmosphere, friendly staff & absolutely excellent food. Highly recommended. We had steak from the specials menu (which was cooked to perfection) followed by fruit & nut chocolate fondant with raspberry sorbet, the best desert I've ever tasted!

We decided to eat in this restaurant with a nice christmas decoration looking and an attractive 3courses menu. The presentation of the dishes was nice but the quality and taste of the food wasn't at the same level except the meat was great! The restaurant was very quiet perhaps the season but no music was on when we get in,... More

The night we ate here the rest of the room was set for a wedding, so it felt slightly strange, but on an normal night it looked better. The service was very attentive and the quality of the food was really high. Cheeseboard excellent! Still very reasonably priced.

We read the reviews on here and gave it a whirl. Service was excellent the food was excellent and when you are paying a fixed menu price of £25 for three courses, plus we had a terrific amuse bouche of tomato and red pepper soup it is superb value for money. Separate kids menu which was excellent quality. Free parking... More
