A great meal to top off our weekend break. The food was a delight and the staff were amazing. The steak and chips were lush!

We enjoyed the lovely lit fire and the food was nice. The place is dirty, if I saw the toilet before I dined we would not have eaten here. If they are happy for the public to see their toilets in this state, I dread...to imagine the cleanliness in the kitchen. Photo shows mould all over tiles in ladies toilet and on the back of the the toilet door. Vent in toilet absolutely suffocated in dustMore

We were happy to find the Silver Fountain open on Saturday evening as we approached Betws y Coed so popped in. I chose the chicken Ham and leek pie which was huge and could have fed a family of four and delicious too. Hubby had...fish pie which he described as perfect. S-I-L had a vegetarian dish (sorry i have forgotten which) but she did comment there was a good choice. We discussed puds and compromised by having a pud between two of us and some ice cream to help it down. This is a gem of a place with so much atmosphere, church pews or settles, real log fire and friendly talkative staff. An amazing place to eat. Thanks to the owners please keep up the good workMore

Really lovely local pub! The ladies here can’t do enough to make you feel welcome! Highly recommend the chicken & leek pie - somehow light but filling. Best pie 🥧 I’ve had! They welcome dogs with open arms, treat & hugs!! Will be back soon

Had breakfast here. Easy to find with plenty of parking. Average prices and quick turn around. They have phone chargers mounted to the wall - never seen this before but very handy.

This place is a gem! If you look past the slightly run down exterior you enter a warm, welcoming bar and restaurant with fantastic home cooked food and warm, friendly service. The Sunday roast was lovely and we can’t wait to come back and taste...the pies. The sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever tasted and my daughter loved her Belgium waffle. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and this place is über dog friendly - she got a fresh bowl of water before our pints!! It’s great value for money with vegetarian and vegan food on the menu. It’s not posh or pretentious just honest, good food served at well below average prices. Fantastic value for money we will definitely be back.More

This is an absolute gem of a place! Really really friendly staff and fabulous food you will not be disappointed. Just ignore the outside facade as inside its friendly, clean and welcoming. And they are very dog fruit / got our dog a drink before...us!More

Visited here Easter Sunday evening and they were so accommodating and kind. Brilliant staff, this is a very friendly place so be ready to join in the jokes. Two meat eaters, a vegetarian, and vegan were all catered for with separate vegetarian and vegan menus...and all homemade. Chips were to die for and pies were crumbly and filling. I'll be back for sure.More
