Situated in the heart of Beddgelert in the foothills of Snowdon, Cafe Colwyn with its Tea Garden is a very popular and welcoming establishment. The comfortable and cosy interior is complemented by a delightful riverside tea garden at the rear, where customers are treated to a menu perfect for visitors exploring the local area. Choose from the popular breakfast, sandwiches, paninis, morning coffee, lunches, clotted cream teas. The café holds a table license. The perfect place for eating at any time of the day.
Slightly Overpriced but none the less pretty decent little cafe.
£5.50 for a small albeit tasty bowl of leek and potato soup, don’t want to mark the place harshly because I think it’s typical prices for the area.
Extremely friendly staff and fantastic food with cosy atmosphere! The scones were the best we had ever had and the sandwiches and sausage bap very fresh and served in a beautiful bun. Very nice coffees and we will sure be back in winter time to...sample a spicy latte or some variety. Thanks so much for your wonderful and friendly serviceMore
Serving breakfast - this was the only place open in the village for breakfast on the day we arrived.
Host sat you at a table, then order was taken, food served.
Food to a high standard.
Sitting outside in the sunshine was fab (best weather...for Wales ever)......

Stopped here for tea and cake this morning. An absolute gem. The staff were amazing dealing with lots of customers. They were particularly good at dealing with a rude and impatient couple. The waiter and waitress are a credit to the owners
The carrot cake...was probably the best we’ve ever tasted.
Don’t pass by go in and tryMore
We have just a really good, well priced lunch outside at this cafe. The young man greeting customers, on a very warm and busy day, was an absolute diplomat, allocating tables and dealing with some very impatient and pushy customers. He should go and work...in the Diplomatic Service - well done!More
