Went for lunch and had the carvery which was really nice and plenty of choice of veg and a good helping of meat would definitely recommend as good value for money

Friendly and spacious eating area. Efficient online booking with a table actually reserved rather than just 'oh you can sit here'. Extensive menu with small carvery deck but plenty left even at 7:30pm
Visited on a Sunday and I don't think it's right to put it up £2 but I'm aware that this is the norm. Carvery was plentiful. Lots of meat the beef was really nice. The vegetables weren't fresh but edible neither were the Yorkshire puddings....More
Probably the worst meal out that I have had and paid for. Plate cold, lamb tough and rubbery, potatoes were hot but had been sitting in water so long they were brown and mushy. Definitely would not return having seen what others were eating. Waste...More
This is a good Inn, lovely dining area and friendly staff. The menu has a good range and we have been twice now and both times the food was excellent and the service was very good. Not the cheapest but worth it.
