Great meal, the mixed grill was the best my husband has ever had. The meat was the best quality. Lovely views from the table. Service excellent.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Snowdonia. Beautiful setting in the beer garden, you could see and hear the steam engine go by across the river. I had the posh prawn cocktail which was delicious.

Ate three nights on the trot.Varied menu of excellent home cooked food value way beyond the price. Lovely views of the river Dee from the restaurant with attentive and friendly service. Well worth a detour or even a special journey.
Food on all menus was great and good value. you must try the carvery it is to dream for. no food is too much trouble just ask you will get it.
