The restaurant was gracious enough to host our group of 30+ (including 19 teenage boys) on a tour through Wales. The meal was excellent, superbly prepared and all to order. The location and atmosphere of Y Ffarmers and the village is hard to beat. We are so pleased with the level of service, friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. We certainly... More

Great food and atmosphere, staff were superb and very accommodating given that we were such a big group with children! Everyone loved their meals which was well presented and scrummy!

This is a fantstically relaxing gastropub, well worth the drive. A good menu, very good value and well presented. Really wonderful touches of original Welsh art and F and B paint but all done without pretentiousness. Highly recommended. Un o fy hoff lefydd diolch i Esther a Rhodri.

We were meeting friends for lunch at the Druid in Goginan, but were directed to here by the kindly owner because they could not accommodate us. It was an interesting drive over the hills from one valley to the other- probably best to approach from the Aberystwyth side unless you are accustomed to travelling on single track roads. Food was... I have never been served Sunday Lunch in a bowl before. Everything was piled on top of one another and it was not your traditional Sunday Lunch as it states on the website. The beef was undercooked and fatty. The small amount of mash was hidden underneath the meat and the extra gravy we asked for came in a milk... More

Our third visit in a year, appears even better every time. The food is of first class quality as well as the service, plus an excellent range of local beer. Absolute faultless and worth the drive off the beaten track.

Visited whilst staying with my daughter in Borth- about 30 minutes drive. Daughter and partner visit regularly so we were going based on their recommendation. We were not disappointed as the food was beautiful: fresh; good sized but not too large portions; varied dishes available, particularly for vegetarians; well presented and served promptly. We arrived for 5:30 to find the... More
