Had a wonderful family 30th birthday party last night with guests from Scotland to London and from the youngest at 3 weeks to the oldest in their 80s. Mouthwatering food, nothing was too much trouble and being able to use the upstairs party room made...More

We chose to visit Saffrons Bistro based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed with our visit. We were greeted warmly and offered a choice of tables. The service was attentive, chatty but not over intrusive. Two starters - trio of fish and fishcakes...More

So very disappointed with saffron tonight. Went with friends but now home eating beans on toast as food was so poor I sent it back. Very limited vegetarian choice - squash risotto or squashband chickpea stew. Bad luck if you dont like squash! What should...More

Enjoyed a fabulous Christmas lunch with colleagues on Wednesday lunchtime. 10 of us dined around a large table where we had the room to ourselves. We pre-ordered and the 3-course set menu meal was delicious. There were also lots of different gins to try.

Me and my wife have eaten here quite a number of times. Always very pleased with all aspects. However today's lunch was poor. My cod and chips was very good quality but the only problem was finding it on the plate! Pity I didn't have...More

As a solo diner I felt welcome and comfortable. Very friendly staff who were very attentive. I had the garlic bread starter, followed by the chicken ballotine. It was really, really tasty. I would recommend for solo, couples or groups.
