My wife and I called in for a late Sunday lunch after a stroll across the Malverns,, more in hope than anything else. The host ushered us in fairly quickly to ensure we ordered before the kitchen closed and the experience thereafter was simply brilliant. Great food, very pleasant staff and the host/owner was so friendly and helpful it was... More

Had lunch with my husband today. Think it is one of the best meals I have ever had. Started with the asparagus, then had the most delightful fish platter. Everything so very fresh. We were not rushed and the staff were polite and friendly. Would certainly recommend this gem of a place.

After a pleasant circular walk around the southern end of the Malverns and Eastnor Castle enjoyed a lovely lunch here. As well as the standard menu a wide variety of ‘specials’ were on offer. Whilst prices are slightly above average the offerings are of a high quality and beautifully presented. Excellent real ales available as well. Staff all extremely pleasant... More

We have not been for a long time and I was surprised by the huge improvement in the cooking. Really very good. I had the cod tempura with crab cakes and ginger relish and it was 10/10. My wife's steak was the best she had had in ages. The beer is good and the service is prompt and friendly. It... More

Fantastic food, service and selection of wines - every time! The chef deserves a Michelin star. L'Amuse Bouche used to be my favourite restaurant in Malvern but not anymore! The Wellington's menu changes regularly, includes generous portions at great prices and the quality of the dishes simply outshines its competitors. I cannot recommend highly enough! The only thing I would... More

What a find! Nestling in the beautiful countryside, the quality of food at this little gem could give any top London restaurant a run for their money (and I've eaten in many). The Thai tempura cod, crab cakes, lemongrass jasmine rice and sauces were incredible. I cannot rate the food highly enough. The layers of flavour throughout the dish were... More

We eat here with family fairly often. It is a pleasant, comfortable pub with food which is way better than the average pub food. On this most recent occasion there were five of us plus a baby. They are particularly good at tempura so my starter and main meals were both battered fish. They were excellent and very filling. Service... More

Just enjoyed a lovely 3 course lunch at The Wellington Inn. Booked with a Travelzoo voucher. Well worth it. 3 courses. Pate and trout and tempura prawns. Followed by pollock, smoked salmon and prawns with linguini. Sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. Orange Creme caramel with fruit. Need to walk the hills now!!!!!! Attentive staff and very personable. Don't just... More

Having passed the Wellington Inn for many years without calling we went for a meal last night. What a wonderful surprise. The food was amazing, beautifully prepared and presented, wonderful tastes and excellent portions. The venison wellington and the pheasant main courses were exceptional. The staff welcoming and the atmosphere great. Added to all that it was great value. We... More
