We discovered El Bareto a few months ago and since we’ve been visiting regularly. The wine selection is great and food is good too I would only suggest that they improve slightly the menu (maybe replacing a few dishes). Apart from that a great little...More

I’ve been to El Bareto several times, I’m so lucky to live within walking distance of the restaurant. The food is great with a good range of tapas to choose from, my favourites being the garlic prawns, Spanish meatballs and not to mention the pastas...More

We visited on a Saturday evening during a weekend visit to Leeds. Easy parking nearby. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere good - there was a real buzz about the place. The menu is not huge but offers a wide range of tapas...More

Wonderful little restaurant tucked away on the outskirts of Chapel Allerton. Traditional Spanish tapas and bar. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and reasonable prices. It's a bit cosy, but if it was any bigger it wouldn't be the same atmosphere. Would definitely go back - there's...More

We had a lovely visit to El Bareto with excellent service. A very well recommended wine and we enjoyed a range of dishes from the menu and the specials. A very good meal, thanks.

Rang to make a reservation but there was no answer and planned to ring back later in the evening, however to my surprise Shaun called me and said they'd missed my call. Table was booked without any problems. On arrival Shaun showed us to our...More

Been here once before and enjoyed the food, but this time, myself and a friend became unwell after eating here. No other reason why both of us would be sick.

This was our first visit to this lovely tapas restaurant. We were shown to our table by Shaun, the manager who went out of his way to explain the menu. The food was excellent and I can say without any doubt that after working in...More

We had never heard of this restaurant. My dad's girlfriend booked it as it's close to her house. The bar area is lovely and quaint. The gin drinks looked amazing. I was driving unfortunately but will definitely be going back. We were taken downstairs to...More

No I'm sorry, it has very steep stairs to get to the restaurant downstairs. You can ask to eat upstairs as it has wheelchair access but its very busy!

Tapas from my Grannies Recipes in a hand built bar and restaurant we made ourselves. We like to think we have brought a little bit of Spain, a traditional taverna, with us to Leeds. With Live acoustic music every Tuesday in our cosy downstairs restaurant, and music through out the week. Pablo and Yeyo offer as authentic Tapas as it is possible to find in a unique little restaurant. You can relax in the bar after a hard days work, or maybe outside and enjoy a glass of specially selected Spanish wine.
