Good restaurant with a lively atmosphere, very small bar area which was packed. Not great when you are having a beer before your meal and you have to constantly move Around to let people past. Advice on busy nights is to get to your table fast and enjoy the good food that is on offer. I will return in the... More

4 of us went for a meal on Valentine's, we had been before a few years ago, but very disappointed this time. 1st the jug of sangria was very weak, hardly any wine or rum in it had to add a bit of red wine but still not the best. Ordered 8 tappas & there was more lettuce & or... More

Ordered set meal for 8 in advance and good choice. Veggie tapas ordered as well nd lots of choice. Good value. Nice service. Only downside is seating as there are a lot of stools which are low nit with no back. Also we were downstairs so be ptepared to climb steps. Dont know whether the can accommodate customers upstairs as... More

If you haven't been, you should go. Super atmosphere.super food.quality wines. Staff have very warm and humorous personalities. I've enjoyed each visit. All 3 of us agreed it was our best meal so far, but we ordered too much food and not enough Vino Tinto Riona Crianza. Thanks so much to Isabelle for being so kind in listening to my... More

This is a good restaurant for a group we had a set meal and the variety was good. We had vegetarians in the group and they were well catered for plenty of food for all. The atmosphere was good and the service was very good. The only problem was the seating became a little uncomfortable after awhile but that might... More

Have often walked past this small restaurant and was surprised by the extent of the menu and quality of the food. A lovely little restaurant that we will be going back to

A fantastic evening from start to finish. A decorated corner of the restaurant for our party of 13. From walking in through the door to leaving we enjoyed fantastic food, drink and live entertainment. The service is always amazing with attention to detail throughout. This isn't our first visit to el Bareto and it certainly won't be our last. If... More

Description
Tapas from my Grannies Recipes in a hand built bar and restaurant we made ourselves. We like to think we have brought a little bit of Spain, a traditional taverna, with us to Leeds. With Live acoustic music every Tuesday in our cosy downstairs restaurant, and music through out the week. Pablo and Yeyo offer as authentic Tapas as it is possible to find in a unique little restaurant. You can relax in the bar after a hard days work, or maybe outside and enjoy a glass of specially selected Spanish wine.
