This pub/restaurant is just a little outside the main shopping area in Leeds but worth the walk. My pie was delicious and topped with mashed potatoes and came with a selection of vegetables. The other half had the scampi and chips. The scampi was far...More

Great town centre classic traditional, real ale pub. No frills, bar food. Usual town centre parking issues. Close to some interesting sightseeing.

We visited here on our walk back to town from the Emmerdale studio. First impressions from outside is it looks pretty and inviting and then you walk in it’s a proper old fashioned pub which is nice to find. We were welcomed at the bar...More

Love the food here so brought my company to try. Mixed feelings re food but I rate it. It's pub food not a steak house specialised or michellin star. Food is so tasty with the dripping chips. Yum! Great hangover food

This is a proper homely pub in the city centre with excellent real ales and wines and refreshingly friendly and efficient staff. They really went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our evening. The menu is interesting with many unusual items among normal...More

Visiting Leeds for the day we chose this location due to TripAdvisors reviews. Quite disappointed really. Staff friendly & premises clean but food was mediocre. A burger with no seasoning, nice scampi but tasteless chips. Not somewhere I would return.

Been here a few times now for Sunday lunch and it never disappoints, love the décor too, a great place to relax and enjoy some good food and drink.

My family and I went on Sunday for dinner. The pub and restaurant are relatively small so if you plan on visiting at peak time then I'd recommend booking in advance. The range of beers on offer are fantastic and complement the food brilliantly. The...More

Unfortunately we are closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. However we do offer festive meals around December time. The menu for this comes out in late August. Sam Rhodes Owner

Hi, I always recommend booking, our peak lunch times are 12 noon until 2.00pm therefore after this time we tend to be quieter. There is not a dedicated car park, but plenty of on street parking around the back of Town Hall... More
