Group of 10 booked for a Saturday night. Arrived and welcomed at the bar before being led to our table. Great atmosphere, laid back. Food was excellent, service good, brilliant night, can’t wait to go again.

My husband, Chris, and I came here on Thursday evening to celebrate Chris' birthday. It was our first visit. We both felt the place had the wow factor as soon as we walked into the basement restaurant where the lighting and ambience was spot on...More

Oustanding service combined with good food. The menu was excellent and worth the price. I had a later reservation but was accommodated earlier without hesitation on a busy Saturday. I will visit again

Lovely restaurant, nicely situated. Had a girl named Georgia telling us about the specials, friendly and extremely chatty, smiley, made us feel welcomed, very attentive. Food came out in good time, lovely service all round, brilliant food, steak cooked perfectly!! Highly recommend!

Top quality steaks, great service & good atmosphere. Went with a few lads and we all really enjoyed. Next time I’m in the area we’ll definitely be back here if you haven’t already been you’ve got to try this place.

We had a wonderful time at Anderson's with excellent food and a superb atmosphere. We attended for a wedding reception and the staff coped amazingly with so many of us arriving at once. the foods provided were delicious and plentiful and the cocktails were divine!!!

It’s a ‘smart casual’ type of place, but I’m sure jeans are fine. There was a mix of how people were dressed. Enjoy your meal. Can’t wait to go back!

Situated on St Pauls Church square, Andersons Bar and Grill is found in the interesting surroundings of former 18th century cellars. However this restaurant is as far from a dingy basement bar as it is possible to be lush, sophisticated dcor brings light and space to the brick arched room, changing displays of art is displayed on the walls and theres a definite buzz to the atmosphere. With a dedication to providing great value food in a relaxed setting along with top quality service, Andersons Bar and Grill is already making its mark on the local dining scene. The food, sourced locally is of course hearty grill fayre but presented with a touch of class so even old favourites such as Barnsley chop or grilled plaice are actually rather special.
