Came here with my boyfriend. We both had the surf and turf which was well cooked and delicious. Only problem was that the bacon wrapped around my boyfriends monkfish was mostly fat but this was quickly changed. The starters and desserts were lovely also. Very...More

Tapas at lunch ok but still not as top quality as once were. Drinks and service up to scratch though.

“Oh my stars!” This was ‘the’ best restaurant I’ve ever had steak in! The meat was cooked exactly how I wanted it. It was melt in your mouth from start to finish.

After reading all the hype, the pre-meal build up and anticipation was intense to say the least. The decor and atmosphere inside were reassuringly right on point. Unfortunately, on the night we visited, there was a very large table of alpha males in suits taking...More

Excellent steaks from specialist breeds are cooked beautifully. Great value for this quality of food. Deserts and starters are also excellent especially the banana loaf. Highly recommended.

We are here Saturday night with a big party and found both the food (chosen off their set menu) and the service great. Everyone commented positively on the quality of the menu and the food (not an insignificant challenge in the size of group) and...More

Situated on St Pauls Church square, Andersons Bar and Grill is found in the interesting surroundings of former 18th century cellars. However this restaurant is as far from a dingy basement bar as it is possible to be lush, sophisticated dcor brings light and space to the brick arched room, changing displays of art is displayed on the walls and theres a definite buzz to the atmosphere. With a dedication to providing great value food in a relaxed setting along with top quality service, Andersons Bar and Grill is already making its mark on the local dining scene. The food, sourced locally is of course hearty grill fayre but presented with a touch of class so even old favourites such as Barnsley chop or grilled plaice are actually rather special.
