I had a starter of pork ribs - one of my favourite dishes. At £10 the taste was good, but I felt it was very parsimonious just to give me three (3) ribs. No finger bowl was supplied, and when after I had eaten the ribs I asked for one, all that I was given were two tiny paper wipes.... More

Went on a Friday night and it was very busy so service was a bit slow but once the food came it was really good. Waitress was helpful with suggestions and it wasn't overpriced. Drinks a bit pricey though.

Upon writing this review, I have sent an email to Thai Edge in January, but have not received a reply at all. We came here by a friend's recommendation, I booked a table at Thai Edge, Brindley Place,on a Tuesday evening for 10+ guests to celebrate my partners birthday. Food was okay but quite pricey. The waitress who took our... More

I would say very average food. It's a nice restaurant in a good location serving basic food so overly priced. Was moved from our seat as was given the wrong table apparently, then other table was rocking so notified the waiter / manager who did nothing about it. Struggled to communicate with waitress about order etc. Ordered coke, which served... More

I can honestly say that Thai is never a choice I would make. Was here along with 20 others for a business meet and greet. Format was simple number of starters lobster course then mains. Could not fault a thing and when I said I needed to be careful with peanuts they organised everything for me very well. This experience... More

First things first. The staff were more than attentive. We went for the Banquet and our round table was set for 9. Just found if a lazy susie had been on the table it would have made our dining experience so much better. Especially entertaining customers. People were streching and having to ask other people to pass plates of food.... More

After trying to go to (an empty) bistro Pierre and being told it was fully booked, we went across to Thai Edge, also empty saying they were fully booked but we could have the table for an hour...Result! We have been before and we're not disappointed, in fact the other restaurant did us a favour. Chicken massa man and beef... More

Ended up at Thai edge last night. It's been a few years since I've been here and fancied a change from sabai sabai Service good food was good and atmosphere ok. Just so everyone's aware they are closing in a couple of weeks for a total refurb which They were excited to tell us about. Overall it was more expensive... More

They did great to fit us in, as we hadn't booked. The service was good, I'd been here many years ago, and it didn't look like it had changed. As it was a last minute choice, we had a set menu and a couple of drinks. The soup starter was really good, and the shared starter was also nice, would... More

Went for a meal and the Sunday buffet was the only option - food was really nice even with a hangover! Staff didn't seem to understand some of our requests but that may just be a cultural difference and us not understanding how it worked.

Description
"Perfectly sited in Brindley Place, Thai Edge is a smart, very modern restaurant, with white decor and masses of flowers which are flown in from Thailand, as is much of the decor. You will receive a warm greeting - which is part of what makes this spot a favourite among the mixed, trendy

clientele, from students to professionals. What's cooking? Dishes are beautifully served and you'll find all your favourites on the menu, like three types of satay, Thai fish cakes with cucumber salad sauce, spring

rolls, spicy minced prawn on toast, and chicken galanga, specialities like

steamed seabass with spicy and sour sauce and tamarind sauce, stir-fried beef, chicken or seafood with fresh chilli, lemon grass, basil and pineapple. Of course, there are pad thai and a plethora of noodle and rice

dishes. Four set menus. This is one place you'll return to again and again."
