Visited the Tipperary Inn with friends who lived locally and had booked for us to join them there. Four of us had an excellent meal with friendly attentive service. Lovely warm bread, cheese, olives and balsamic dips were brought free of charge while we made our menu choices. The food was lovely and portions very generous. Two of us were... More

Lovely meal, good service and good food. We were a table of 9 and really enjoyed our meal. Spotted the fish in the piano on the way out!

Stopped at the Tipperary on our way to Solihull to have lunch. No ale available because 'there's a problem'. The slate floor had just been cleaned (warning wet floor sign) and the whole place smelled of Jeyes Fluid or something similar which put us off even looking at the menu! Looked like it has been recently decorated, shame there was... More

Italian based food excellent. Lots of history about the RAF squadron very interesting and a fish tank housed in a piano. What more could you ask for.

Appalling food served dreadfully slowly, husbands steak came with no garnish, no sauce, we had to ask for some, and got a watery gravy. My lamb on the other hand was smothered in a sauce called a red wine jus, it was a glutinous strange tasting mess, no garnish. The vegetables looked and tasted as if they had been in... More

Had a pre Christmas family gathering and as we had been before and had a good meal we suggested this place and it was central to everyone. It would have been nice to know from the website which menus were being used as most of our party have viewed the main menu and decided what to have, when we arrived... More

Great staff - they kept the "Sunday Lunch" kitchen open for us. Some good beers. And the food was fantastic value - we couldn't finish it! But the veg potatoes and meat were perfectly cooked.

WE recently revisited after reports that it had again changed hands. We were very dissappointed with the service and quality for a lunchtime menu

Visited the Tipperary Inn a couple of times previously, brilliant food and service. Booked a table for eleven for Christmas Eve lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday arrived at 2.15pm. Ordered starters and mains at approx 2.45pm only to be informed that there was no Rib eye steak left and no pork. A bit strange as there was a Christmas menu... More
