We decided to visit for dinner on Thursday night, was very quiet, two tables only. We got a table for two straight away. The staff was nice, very polite. We had the breads, olives with oils and vinegar ( came in bottles, don’t know how...More

Lovely food, great service and very reasonable. Would definitely recommend. We did not feel rushed at all and were able to eat our food at our own pace in very nice surroundings.

We were the first customers in for lunch and were very impressed by the attentive waiter, the quality of the house wine and the standard of the food. The sea food Pizza was wonderful and despite never ordering puddings for lunch we were tempted with...More

Our first visit was a family affair in March 18. 4 of us tucked into a variety of well cooked, delicious dishes, served by an attentive chap who couldn’t have done anymore. The lamb shank and prawn pasta mains were both amazing, and the raw...More

I recently visited this place with my partner and daughter. To start with there was no other table in the whole restaurant, so there wasn’t much atmosphere. Food was good, but too expensive for what you get. Won’t visit again.

Lovely warm welcome and great conversation with the host. The Gavi was particularly good to drink and I would recommend the bread and olives to get your meal started. All the food was fantastically fresh, I can recommend the Sardinian pastry for pudding with a...More

Hi, In heels I would say about 10-15 mins - we're at the top end of Stratford just past Shakespeare's house and the hotel is at the bottom end. Maybe you should get a taxi - save your feet & your hair as it's just started... More

Situated in the heart of Stratford upon Avon, 70 yards from Shakespeare's birthplace and 5 minutes from the Theatres, Il Moro is a family run Italian restaurant with a twist. Chef/owner Massimiliano Melis, from the south of Sardinia believes in serving traditional, simple, home-made Italian cuisine but also enjoys the challenge of infusing flavours from his homeland into his dishes. All of our pasta, bread and desserts are hand-made in house, making Il Moro a little bit more than the average Italian restaurant.Within stylish and elegant surroundings, guests can enjoy a glass of prosecco at the bar before dining or weather permitting, a light bite on the roof terrace which affords stunning views across the rooftops of Stratford. Stepping into Il Moro is like stepping into another world - one that is steeped with tradition and has a real authentic feel but is at the same time contemporary and fresh in its approach to food and service.
