Classic food, cleanly presented and a justifiable price. A lovely wine menu and amazing service, would definitely return again.

Good, accurate cooking. Good value. Nothing to really excite. Halved the average age of the dining room - even at 40. Staff had that annoying habit of condescension. Last minute choice. Can I not eat in jeans?

We took 10 people to the Cross on Saturday night to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had a table in the private dining room and the tasting menu. The food was fabulous and the service faultless. I would definitely reccommend.

Was just checking out the new list of Michelin stars and you appear to have lost yours. Is this correct?

No, the Cross has not lost its star, infact it was confirmed in yesterdays new Michelin Guide. If you Google Coventry Telegraph restaurants there is an article on this. I hope this helps.

I don't have a copy of the menu but it's cleasrly pitched at the "FAINE DINING" market not at anyone looking for bargains.
