I'm no stranger to paying £20+ for a steak but in this instance, I struggled to understand what I was getting for the money. My family and I all ordered rump steaks with the extra sides (onion rings, mushroom and tomatoes) which to our disappointment...More

The ambiance was great at the Almanack and our waitress Mariella was top notch. I loved my dinner, well prepared and nice portion size (I had monkfish special with lovely snap peas and potatoes). Will be back

Came here with my dad without high hopes but was embarrassed on behalf of this place. They mixed up our orders, bringing out my dad's starter and main course together. The basic pub food itself was no better than you'd get in a Wetherspoons, while...More

Staff are friendly but prices for coffee at breakfast time are over inflated. Nice atmosphere, pleasant surroundings.

Great bar for meeting up with friends for pre meal drinks, we arranged to meet here before going off to a restaurant. The service and the drinks were spot on, they serve a nice Gin and tonic.

Disappointing visit, service very average and tea served with off milk. Fresh tea and milk provided with no comment/apology. Flap jack nice.

Enough said really. No marmite and some doubt if it is ever coming back. Only costs a couple of quid a jar. Very odd. Seems like a deliberate plot against marmite lovers.
