We visited on Saturday evening and the restaurant was busy with a lively atmosphere. With it being a French take on tapas, the waiter was very helpful with the choice of sharing dishes. All the food was excellent and reasonably priced, will definitely visit again

Food excellent and good atmosphere but it is the staff who make this place really go. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Made for a great evening in a charming city.

Everything was amazing at The French Quarter from when we arrived. The service was fantastic, each waiter paying a great amount of attention to our table and desires. The bartender was kindly able to make a drink which wasn’t on the menu. The food was...More

Had the most wonderful time here on Saturday night! Jordan was lovely and incredibly helpful in explaining the dishes, many of which we’ve never had before (the whole artichoke, also delicious!). Would definitely return and hopefully will be soon! Thank you for a lovely night!

Description
The French Quarter is a relaxed neighbourhood restaurant & wine Bar in a community of unique and quirky businesses in Newcastle city Centre. We are a friendly and approachable team of people, with a passion for the good things in life. Born from nostalgia for a traditional style of commerce and a desire to challenge perceptions that French dining is formal or fussy, we work with independent suppliers to offer a regularly changing wine list & tapas style menu. We have created a casual and sociable environment where customers are invited to experience our food, try our wines, shop from our deli and share our love of all things French!
