Visited for lunch on a Thursday. Small car park for the number of covers on offer. Typically modernised period interior, with fresh looking timber beams and pale paintwork, but somewhat lacking in atmosphere & character. Plenty of space between tables. Inventive menu, with the best pumpkin gnocchi I've ever tasted. However the portion size was inadequate for the premium price... More

The food here couldn't be better. No caveats needed. It's not pub grub. It is amazing, well presented food with great service. We visited with a friend and it was so good we visited again within 10 days.

Went with high expectations but we left feeling very underwhelmed. Basically good service & tasty food, let down by overpricing and small portions - £22 for the lamb main course which consisted of roughly 4oz of meat, 2 croquettes and token veg - I had to order 2 sides of chips and salad to make a meal! Found out after... More

I've driven past The Grantley Arms on my way to and from work each day for the past 19 years, and until very recently it seemed to be just another pub and I never felt I wanted to stop. Now though, after a big refurbishment it is really good. We went for dinner on a friend's recommendation and weren't sorry... More

Brilliant Sunday roast after a walk in the Surrey Hills. Bliss! The inside of the pub is modern yet cosy with lots of original features and tasteful décor. The food was excellent and at a good price. Would definitely revisit and would highly recommend to friends visiting the area. Go check it out but remember to book!

Met with friends for Sunday lunch. We were able to catch up in the relaxed friendly environment. All food delicious and can especially recommend the roast beef. Staff attentive, reasonably priced for excellent quality food. Will be visiting again

They obviously welcome kids as the place was full of them....screaming the house down. Such a shame as the food was divine.

Popped in late one autumn afternoon looking for lunch across three generations of a family group from 8 weeks to 65 years old. Catered well for all of us. Attractive dining and bar areas and although we were pretty much on our own arriving around 3.00 p.m. felt comfortable. Young guys serving us were polite and helpful. Varied menu catered... More

My mother-in-law recently organised a surprise birthday lunch for my wife. Right from first phone call to the final thank you as we left, we cannot fault anything. It was an excellent experience. The service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. And so nice to see a decent kids menu too. The choice of... More
