Popped in with Family for lunch. Good choice of food, good service. Food arrived and tasted great. Only little thing would be we sat in the corner which was quite dark, maybe some extra light would be good but it didnt affect the food or atmosphere.

This has to be number 1 in Newmarket for great pub grub. We often visit here either for breakfast / lunch and just cannot fault. Freshly cooked and such value for money, try the all day breakfast or the home made burger & fries just yummy ! Nice friendly relaxed atmosphere, which also counts for a lot.

If I do not like a venue I usually do not write a bad review (only give good reviews or say nothing) but, in this case it was so bad that I have to review it. Popped in with friends on a Friday night before moving on to eat. A pint of rancid ale was the best on offer, only... More

I believe you have left this review against the wrong pub. We offer a variety of ales (cask marque approved) alongside 5 lagers, 3 ciders and Guinness. We are not overly noisy and I wouldn't call our customers scruffy so not sure where you were. More

I have visited this pub before and had forgotten what exceptional value the food offer is. They are open from 8am and offer a selection of breakfast meals all day, and if you have one of the large ones, that is probably all you eat all day. The prices hover around £5 and it is unlikely that a better value... More

The waggon does the best all day breakfast in Newmarket, the quality of the food is fantastic and best of all you get a free cuppa with it. The other food choices are also very good. Great place for drinking too

In a nutshell, quality Newmarket sausage, thick bacon, beans, mushrooms, hash brown, toast, fried egg and half a tomato with either tea, coffee or juice for £4 I come twice a week to feast and it's worth every penny and more. Bar staff are friendly and the chef Billy is very kind. My only negative is that they have recently... More

Discovered this pub on my way home. Had a lovely Sunday roast, which had all the trimmings. Lovely fresh vegetables and a lovely gravy. Really enjoyed the food. The staff were very friendly and very polite. A good selection of beers. Definitely going back again. Worth while a stop!!

Delicious, lovely pub for a Mega Breakfast at £6.00 including coffee. There is a good choice for breakfast, but we opted for the MEGA and didn't need to eat for the rest of the day!

Discovered this pub today, and very pleased I did. We had a Sunday Roast, and the roast beef was excellent. There was a good amount of food including vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. All of us were very happy with the food. The staff were friendly and attentive. The other customers were wonderfully friendly. The overall atmosphere was... More
