The Greyhound has been very nicely and sympathetically refurbished, and is a great place to visit for either a drink or food. The staff are friendly and helpful, service is fast, and food is excellent. The oysters were an absolute delight! Thoroughly recommended.

The Greyhound is exceptional from start to finish, the manager is delightful, as are her staff, the food is amazing and full of taste, every time I walk out I can honestly say its been a pleasurable experience and excellent value for money. It is my first choice from now on and will enjoy introducing my family and friends to... More

I am sorry you feel our staff are unkept? We do not 'keep' them we ask them to do their best to look after our customers. They work hard and do their best, we are very lucky to have such a good Team at the Greyhound. If the wait was unacceptable, then I am sorry. I am so glad you... More

Seems that it's ok to have a dog friendly area that you don't tell your patrons about. Seems it's ok for dogs to attack me and owners to abuse you and the managers response I will get the chefs ! What the ! A pub to stay away from in my view

I am sorry you decided to use our Pub Restaurant as the venue for a nasty confrontation with another table, to the point where the aggressive behaviour demonstrated by your table and the next table led to our Manager asking you all to leave. Not only did this confrontation upset many of our customers that lunchtime but these sort of... More

Popped in few times during our stay in Lavenham. Had a selection of the 'small savouries' which we shared, delicious. The Greyhound ale is also worth a try. The service was excellent at all times. Not cheap but worth the extra.

Enjoy the service and atmosphere of the Greyhound. But, £6 for two lattes, ouch! Getting a little greedy!

Obviously and atypical evening, we, however, had a great time. The food service was 'bowl food' as sort of continuous form of tapas served over several hours - which was novel and took a bit of getting used to. Each of the numerous dishes was well cooked and tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. The entertainment, which obviously was especially... More

Walked past and thought what a lovely place so decided we would go in and have some lunch, we both ordered the "deli board" £8 each, thank goodness we ordered some extras to go with it as the deli board consisted of some ham and a few crumbles of cheese! However the ham was very nice. We also ordered some... More

£16 for shepherds pie! My friend's steak was just awful, but in fairness, mine was quite nice. Service was very slow and staff seemed disinterested. Maybe they were tired.
