We got our fish and chips didn't need to wait long. However we chose to sit out on the sea wall of the beach to enjoy the view. Great batter, fish was lovely and chips nice and fluffy. Hubble got a couple of small bones, but didn't care as it was so tasty. Would have been easier to eat in... More

The shine was knock off what were basically good fish & chips because both my wife and me had half a dozen bones to contend with, to be presented in a narrow bag with chips beneath the fish made them very hard to eat particularly as the skin had not been removed from the fish. I'd heard great things of... More

You may have to queue for a while, but there is nothing wrong with that, Chatting to the others whilst inhaling the aroma of freshly frying fish and chips. We were in Aldeburgh for the week before Easter and enjoyed their fare twice. Charming staff and delicious food.

The fish and chips we had were great but were as we'd expect from a seaside town. We queued for 10 minutes which was ok

There are two Aldeburgh Fish & Chips and we went to the one half way down the high street of this busy tourist destination As warned by others, there were 46 people ahead of us waiting to be served. Sitting by the sea eating I was rather disappointed - the chips were not crispy, the batter on the fish was... More

I've been visiting the Aldeburgh Fish and Chip shop since 1971 and have never been disappointed. The queues on a busy day are a testimony to its popularity but who cares - you can buy a drink from the White Hart next door and enjoy it whilst you wait your turn for perfectly cooked fish and chips!

One word says it all. Just really very good fish and chips. We always visit and were pleased to see the queue around the corner as usual

Can usually find parking at the bottom of town on the gravel leading to the Martello tower. There wasn't a long queue for a change (14th). Just a few minutes wait and then a nice walk along the sea front tucking into great fish and chips. Tried again on Saturday(15th) but huge queues made me give up. Never seen chip... More
