Had a seafood platter, together with a baguette, as our takeaway lunch. Lovely selection of seafood along with two side salads. The seafood was delicious, especially the crab, and there was plenty for two of us to share. The people in the shop were very...friendly and helpful.More

My partner had the fish and chips and I had the fish pie, they were both delicious. Wonderfully tasty and fresh fish. Great service. We will return!

Enjoyed an afternoon pit stop at this quaint cafe, out of the rain. The atmosphere is lovely and service was nice, they were kind and had a smile. Menu is small but really interesting and prices are great, got a Cromer crab on the menu.

We popped in here as the queues for fish and chips were crazy. We were lucky to get a table. Small but fabulous menu. My husband had the kedgeree and I had salmon and cous cous; both were lovely. The children had fish and chips and...their plates were empty. Great loose leaf tea And excellent coffee. I would definitely recommend but next time we will book as many people were turned away as they were full.More

Limited but interesting fish based menu. I had the dressed crab and my husband opted for cockles followed by kedgeree - all freshly prepared and delicious! Good service from friendly staff. Limited seating, so book ahead to avoid disappointment.

We were looking for fish and chips, and with the local chippies shut (we were too late for lunch). With the rest of the menu looking somewhat 'fancier' than fish & chips we were not sure it was the best option. In short though, it...was excellent. The fish was very well cooked (and very large), chips good, home made mayonnaise (or tartare sauce for the rest of the family) and reasonably priced. Nothing to complain about at all.More

We dined at the market o the last night of our holiday.Initially there was an issue about the timing of our booking but the restaurant was quiet so we had no problem. Food was very good, decent bottled beer. My only complaint was the state of...the toilet. The waste bin was full to overflowing with paper towels some of which were wet on the floor.Hardly hygenic in these times or indeed at any time.It wasnt as if the restaurantwas crowded or busy, one of the staff could have cleared it upMore

We booked a table outside on a very hot day, but it was great to see the world walk by whilst enjoying fantastic food and a bottle of chilled white wine. A must for anyone visiting Aldeburgh 10/10.
