I could not fault the place, great prices and excellent food well portioned too. I had the gammon and tried my best to finish it, it was that amazing.... More

No matter how busy it is on a Sunday, food is always served piping hot; great waiting on staff who always serve with a smile and a great selection of real ale. This Sunday was no exception absolute quality. You can't go wrong with the Rifleman; an absolute hidden gem.

I had not been to this pub for a meal for some considerable time. And it was a bit of a gamble for me to suggest it to the company that I was with. But I was so happy that the gamble payed off, because the food was absolutely bang on! The food came out on piping hot plates. All... More

long wait for our meal, when it arrived 40 mins later i was disapointed with my hunters chicken as it was very dry, needed a chainsaw to cut it, meals all came at different times. looking through the window to the Kitchen it appeared it only had microwaves??

I must say it was a pleasure to eat here even though they weren't busy it was still a pleasant atmosphere. White table cloths make the difference when having Sunday lunch. I had the beef dinner and it was so tasty lovely roasters and lots of veg even a small jug of extra gravy. I would definatly go again .

We arrived at 8.30 and the place was full! Menu was great with lots of variance and seemed really great value, 3 dishes... More
