By a new age hippie medicine shop. I do not know much about it, but it's bright inside and seems very well presented

Was to close! Food outdated, boring, the two ladies were stuck in their own assumption of greatness. As with all hubris they died a commercial death. Good riddance

No longer there. We mourn ts passing. This trip, as ever, we looked forward to at least one meal in the Galatea, hopefully listening to John's harp playing. Alas, it had gone and in its place was an unexciting shop.

I'm not one of those people that instagrams their meals on a regular basis, but the salad I had at Galatea was so beautiful that I had to snap a photo to share. Nutritious, delicious, and a work of art!

As John D said, Galatea was "extremely Glastonbury"........ I will very much miss the enchiladas, the music, the two ladies who ran it so well for so long..... the friendly atmosphere, singing "She moved through the Fair" with John the Harper......organic wine.....incredibly fresh vegetables....so many...More
