Had coffee, tea, cakes and lunches here when on a short break in Dunster, so good didn’t look anywhere else to eat. Service very fast, staff pleasant, friendly and efficient, vegan and vegetarians catered for. Would strongly recommend.
Having made an extensive study of afternoon cakes (and tea), we can honestly say that this is the best tea room we have ever been to. All the cakes I have ever heard of where present and several I hadn't heard of. We enjoyed it...so much so that we had one lot of drinks and cakes, and promptly ordered another round. Lovely garden at the back to eat , nice and quiet away from the main road. Staff faultless, owner lovely. Top quality cakes, without playing a fortune. Loved it.More
Dropped in for coffee - in the intimate rear garden, protected from the rain by ample umbrellas. Decided to try toasties, three different fillings for our group of three. Fillings were delicious and very imaginative, accompanied by a delicious, varied and substantial fresh side salad....Service was discreet and professional. Coffee was also excellent. We were very pleased we came, and will definitely return.More
We stopped here for lunch whilst visiting Dunster. The interior was beautifully done and the food was amazing! I had the pulled jackfruit burger which came with a really tasty salad! It was lovely! Overall, the food was so nice and came quickly. Would definitely...recommend when stopping on Dunster!More
We visited here twice on our visit to the area. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent all very clean. We had Scrambled eggs on Soda Bread, Brie & Cranberry Toastie and Chicken & Wild Mushroom pie it was yummy. The today...we had to return to have the Stack of Pancakes and the certainly did not disappoint us they were lovely too. It will definitely be a place that we will return too when we visit next and recommend to friends.More
Popped in for some lunch after a visit to Dunster Castle, charming little village and Tessa’s looked lovely with its blue colour scheme and bunting. We sat in the rear garden, plenty of socially distanced space, very pretty. Nice varied lunch menu including cream teas,...toasties etc. Couldn’t resist the scones again, very good value with a pot of tea and 2 scones, which were warm and delicious. Kids went for a toastie which keep with a generous salad. Pastie went down well too. Staff were quick and friendly, did have to resist the temptation of the homemade cakes when we went in to pay. Would highly recommend a visit.More
Really good selection of lunch options with good vegan selection including delicious cakes! Obvious care and attention to detail - from garnish on savoury dishes to extra hot water with tea. Garden seating area behind shop was very pleasant.
