We had a cosy corner on a wet Saturday afternoon to enjoy a quiet drink. The pub was comfortably busy but not crowded and there was a nice atmosphere. A great location to enjoy a drink and/or a meal.

Pies were delicious, setting was great and service was friendly. We went for lunch and cannot fault it. Get the mash with your pie - it's divine!

Big group of us met here before the rugby. Had to try the Piddle ale, glad we did. Very good! Buzzy place, we will be back!

This is a real ale pub some of which is brewed by the pub themselves. Even so, it does cater for those who are not so keen on beer with a fair wine offering. I dined upstairs on a Deer Stalker pie which is venison in a thyme and port wine with a fairly thin crust so that it is... More

The Raven's renowned and famous pie's never disappoint! If you're looking for a hearty good English pub meal when in Bath, The Raven would be my recommendation. Its prices are good for quality-value ratio and its always a fun bubbling pub to be in!

A recommendation led us to this pub. It was busy and had a great atmosphere. The Raven is a pie and real ale pub. I had the beef and raven ale pie, yum 😀. I then had the best apple crumble I have ever had in a pub. It had a no fuss crumble topping and was served with loads... More

Small, quaint and popular with the locals. In a great location just around the corner from the Francis Hotel. Ales, spirits, cider AND lager beers. Good food, the deer tracker (venison) pie is excellent. Gets busy in the 1600-1900 times.

After we finally found it we found a comfy seating area and enjoyed our beers and then ordered some food. The pies were amazing. It was a cozy atmosphere but a bit tight. There are two floors and it's a busy place and fills up fast, but worth it! Plenty of yummy food for a reasonable price and good beer... More

Enjoyed a good meat pie and a pint - a good place for friends to meet and enjoy a good conversation. We had a bit of a wait to find a good table, but enjoyed the place.
