We popped in here for a drink, noticing that they also served pies, and weren't we glad we noticed! Myself and my partner both had the chicken, ham and leek pie and it was absolutely delicious. The best part was the price! £9.80 for a...More

The Raven, pretty much mandatory when we are in Bath. Pies and beer, need I say more. Pick your pie, pick your spuds, pick your gravy, and enjoy with the pint of your choice. Simple formula, it works. Will be back next year.

Called in here for a drink , very friendly barman and a good range of cask ale and real ciders. This pub is tucked away in central Bath and is divided over a couple of levels though we only sat in the ground floor bar....More

We arrived about 3pm and found a table upstairs. My first visit but definitely won't be my last. The staff, food and atmosphere were all brilliant. Pieminister pie's were very good and a good choice of drink was available. We will definitely be returning x

What can i say about this pub.... Great british ales, awesome pies and the biggest surprise of all, was to find authentic south African biltong as a bar snack with a twist. An unbelievably tasty mix of spices....

Hi 7Spring, Thanks for letting me know about this. My manager was right, in that the Stone Angel is naturally quite hazy and though it tastes great, in my opinion, it is very different to 'modern' beers. It has proved very popular, so I'm not...More

Amazing pies and great selection of beer. Can get very noisy and cramped though, and it was a slight hassle finding seating.

Despite it's central location, this pub seemed to be a little neglected in terms of visitor numbers. As it turned out, this was all the better for us. Great selection of beers and varied pie offerings. We had a few nibbles to go along with...More
