Great little pub with tasty ales and even greater pies. Came here on a Friday night it was lovely and busy but we are still able to find a little table downstairs and eat. Our major criticism would be that we wished the pies were...More

Lovely little pub with great range of beers, ales etc... handy place to stop off on a busy Saturday away from the crowds on the street. Friendly team on the bar.

The pies are great - but unless you want soggy chips, do try and get them NOT to pre-pour over your pie. My husband asked for it "on the side" - but the meaning got lost in translation and it came poured over. Ask for...More

Hi Mason, sorry about that, we do usually get that right, on the side is fine, but we obviously missed it when instructing the kitchen. Many thanks Tim

This pub is an absolute treasure. The Raven ale is top notch, and the pies are A1. Why stay away- because I want it to stay exactly as it is. Don't come if you aren't prepared to accept Bath as it is and not complain....More

There are several good pubs in Bath and this is excellent. Long narrow bars both upstairs and down and if you’re going to eat there’s a bit more room upstairs . Downstairs there’s a range of well kept beers including their own and despite the...More

Fortunately my friend had read about this lovely place. We went upstairs to continue trying local food and it was our time for pies. I approached the bar and there, a charming waiter helped me. After a little talk with him and after taking some...More

I am not a pie eater cos I am usually served crap topped with puff pastry. This is good. I had the matador, beef with chorizo and olives. I loved it. The bar is full of friendly locals. I like.
