We had a beautiful tea at the Bath Lodge Hotel on Saturday January 28th and benefited from their January deal. The food was amazing and we enjoyed a vegan tea, which was lovely. Service was great and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend it.

I enjoyed Afternoon Tea at The Bath Lodge Castle on 12th January 2017. I really enjoyed it, as did my friend. I have since discovered that there was an offer of 'two for one' running throughout January for Afternoon Tea, which we were unaware of. This meant that we paid double what we could have paid. I have since called... More

On arrival we had booked to have dinner in Bath .Michal mentioned then now served dinner at Bath lodge so saving a 12 mile round trip we booked our table and it was a wonderful evening both the quality of food and the atmosphere and both myself and my partner were able to drink and not worry about driving .... I was a somewhat hesitant to eat at this restaurant after reading some of the more negative reviews on trip advisor, but I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly welcome and excellent service from the hotel staff. I ordered the chicken roast, which arrived in good time and tasted delicious. (I had a snoop around the hotel grounds too and... More

I took my friend for a special birthday tea. We sat inside as the weather was overcast, but the grounds are lovely so look forward to going back on a sunny day. The venue is quite quirky, being a small hotel in an old castle lodge. A glass of bubbly was served first, then when we were ready there was... More

Stopped by the place spontaneously for lunch. The first impression was nice but apart from that it was not worth the time nor the money. The coffee was from a cheap French press. Then we ordered a two course lunch,a starter £5 each and a simple sandwich for £8 each . The starter said avocado salad but what we got... More

Very sorry you feel this way. Although it would be safe to say you have been more than economical with the truth. Our salads are always dressed and half an avocado is normal for a £5 entree. We try not to over salt our food as there are a lot of people who do not take salt, period. Salt and... More

We stopped here for a late Sunday lunch. The venue is gorgeous. We sat in the beautiful gardens on a sunny Sunday afternoon, enjoying the English weather at its best. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had lamb served with seasonal vegetables followed by fruit crumble. There was a good choice. I'd love to go again... More

Just back from the Bath Lodge Castle. Overall very nice. But... the shower in Room 9 has no water pressure. Everytime I laid back on the bed the headboard would switch the light on. No mention of the Cockerel waking me up every morning. Bits of mould in the bathroom. The poor lady who seemed to do EVERYTHING was doing... More

Strangely enough, Karen and I do remember you, mostly for your tasteless tattoos and disagreeable demeanour. Small wonder you were only comfortable interacting with the Eastern European lady who recently joined us as a member of staff. I have the good fortune of being able to choose which guests to spend time with; and have been amused and enriched by... More

Took up an offer for afternoon tea with Groupon several months ago. However, on attempting to book an afternoon tea with the hotel, we were told that the hotel would accept the voucher and put the blame firmly back on Groupon for not notifying us. This is clearly not the case. To add insult to injury there was no "sorry"... More

Unfortunately I fail to understand what these people are saying. The English is very poor. We have been given a review of 1* and they have never visited our establishment. More

Always wanted to visit as drive past everyday to my work place in Bath. Booked in for afternoon tea today 15th June. Lovely place shame it was raining the gardens were really nice. Met by a lovely waitress who asked us which table we would like. After being seated she brought out a pot of tea, however myself and husband... More

When a Groupon voucher is purchased for 'afternoon tea' I fail to understand why people should expect coffee. More
