A good value prix-fixe menu before 6.30pm provides a good opportunity to refuel before visiting nearby Theatre Royal. We enjoyed beetroot salad, a smoked haddock and gruyere (subtle in fact) fish cake and chocolate mousse - washed down with a nice Albariño. Yum. Friendly service makes everything taste better too.

Lovely food in good location in centre of Bath. I have visited the Cheltenham Brasserie several times and like the food, ambiance, staff and all !! Bath was of the same standard.

Lovely meal. Walked in without booking. Meal was lovely, Sunday roasts looked lovely, I had the the ravioli which was fab, They had a Sunday set 'meal deal' off buy a main then you pay £3.50 for either a starter or main. Would highly recommend. And will come again. Only pet hate i have with lovely restaurants is the bill,... More

Can't fault the service, the menu and drinks choices, the quality of the food and wine, there is also lots of room between tables. Do try the speciality gins, they are sublime. But without pushing the boat out, 2 gins, 2 mains, 2 puds, 2 coffees and 1 of the cheaper wines came to £120. That is just too expensive... More

Food as always was excellent, great colleagues , even recognising my partner and I from a previous visit, one of your waiters proudly told us he had just passed an exam he had completed on your new menu, such enthusiasm for his job was quite refreshing .

visited for an early dinner and ordered from the very reasonably priced set menu - the service was good and we enjoyed the food - we've been before a number of times and it sometimes falters but based on this experience 5* - this is pretty straightforward cooking to a price and on that basis I can't fault it

We like to lunch late at the weekend, so "all-day" restaurants that are not chains are at a premium. So far, so good. At 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon, there were still several tables occupied but it was relatively quiet and we were shown to table by a window. We had a relaxed lunch - bettroot & lentils to start,...
