The food was excellent and very good quality. I also thought that it was very competitive in terms of price. What particularly impressed me was that all the staff are Italian and have a genuine passion for the business they work in. I also thought...More

We went to Sotto Sotto during a Christmas Market visit and overnight stay. We pre booked as recommended and arrived for early evening and it was already very busy. The entrance is via a rickety wooden stairwell which is quite uninspiring to be honest but...More

We dined here with our parents on Thursday. It was our 4th wedding anniversary and my birthday and we were spoiled rotten with lovely handwritten notes, singing and candle lit profiteroles. We came here on our honeymoon and had to celebrate again. It’s the most...More

It's five years since our last visit to Soto Soto - how time flies. It's pleasing to see it is still as good. It is set in cellars below North Parade. The cellars have been beautifully restored and make for an intimate and atmospheric setting....More

Dear Rosemary, I would recommend you to phone them to confirm the validity as they might have restricted date when the voucher could be applied. It is also recommended to book a table in advance!

The prices are not high. No more than you would pay at a chain restaurant. We were quite surprised how reasonable they are for having such high quality food and service.

Certainly doesn’t appear wheelchair friendly as there is a dogleg flight of steps from pavement level down to the basement level. Not sure about the other two parts of your question.

BOOKING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. We are closed from 1st-14th August, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Easter Sunday & from 1st-14th January. Situated just a few steps away from the Roman Baths, our attractive and atmospheric restaurant is located in a charming candle lit historical cellar of natural Bath stone with vaulted ceilings throughout, and resembles the cavernous cellars of an Italian grotto. The main characteristic of our cuisine is its simplicity. We rely on the quality of our ingredients rather than on elaborate preparation. We also like to offer traditional Italian dishes with a contemporary twist because we strongly believe in those 'Sapori' (flavours). With our finest ingredients coming from Italy, and all of our fresh vegetables, seafood and meats sourced locally, we are able to ensure high quality dining that will exceed your expectations.
