Good typical English food, with a good selection of beer and wine and friendly service at a reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit

Called into the Cromwell's Bar and Restaurant on Sunday 17 September 2017 at tea time with our son. The place has a nice feel with a lovely rear beer garden up some stairs. We sat at a corner table in the Wine Bar and orders...More

Very comfortable hotel and restaurant. Good choice of breakfast considering only 6 bedrooms and freshly cooked and served. Second evening we ate in the wine bar and had burgers which were excellent. Tasteful décor without being over the top. Staff friendly and helpful.

Dropped in while looking for somewhere to eat in Shrewsbury. The outside terrace is just lovely - atmospheric, not too busy but good for people watching. Food was generous and good quality. Veggie/gf options available.

My husband and I called in after seeing the sign outside advertising the beer garden. It offered a split level, well thought out and comfortable space. We enjoyed a reasonably priced bottle of Prosecco. We didn't dine here, but the Sunday lunches looked delicious!
