Called into the Cromwell's Bar and Restaurant on Sunday 17 September 2017 at tea time with our son. The place has a nice feel with a lovely rear beer garden up some stairs. We sat at a corner table in the Wine Bar and orders...More
Very comfortable hotel and restaurant. Good choice of breakfast considering only 6 bedrooms and freshly cooked and served. Second evening we ate in the wine bar and had burgers which were excellent. Tasteful décor without being over the top. Staff friendly and helpful.

My husband and I called in after seeing the sign outside advertising the beer garden. It offered a split level, well thought out and comfortable space. We enjoyed a reasonably priced bottle of Prosecco. We didn't dine here, but the Sunday lunches looked delicious!
Set back just of the main road this pub restaurant is very welcoming, olde world, clean and relaxing to be in. One of my Favorite inns here in Shrewsbury
