I have just arrived home after a wonderful afternoon tea for my friends Birthday, it was fresh, homemade and so reasonable. The service, communication prior to booking and experience were top notch! Thank you

Great roast beef, plenty of it and cooked to perfection. Service was excellent- fast and efficient. Busy atmosphere so maybe not for a quiet leisurely lunch but suited us perfectly.

Lovely historical surroundings and friendly helpful staff. Music on in the sister bar next door was also very enjoyable. We think if you come here and eat , then you probably wont want to go anywhere else! Rob n Jo 😊

Hogweed potatoe's is named because of the seasoning they put on the Potatoe's, it tasted very nice as I had to accompany my meal .

Shrewsbury's most popular independent cafe bar and restaurant, located opposite the historic Shrewsbury Abbey, the building itself dates back to the 15th century but with a modern twist. We are situated directly next door to Havana Republic bar and restaurant, and also Momo No Ki Ramen Noodle Bar. We also offer a wide selection of cakes and pastries throughout the day accompanied by a great range of coffees, teas and hot chocolate too. Reservations are advisable, and can be made by telephone, Facebook, Twitter, or through our website.
