Took my mum here for her birthday it was absolutely lovely , great atmosphere ,staff and food was beautiful .... Highly recommended the lamb shank....will definitely be back when in the area.

We held a meeting and had a meal in the middle room. It is a lovely room and typical of the Henry Tudor House. The staff were always very helpful from the initial booking, to producing a menu for Vegans, Vegetarians and glutton free option....The food was excellent. The quality and quantity superb. Every plate was empty at the end. Staff were regularly checking on happiness and on drinks requests. One of the best places I have eaten in and will be back for both business and personal eventsMore

Tooooo many flies! Engaging, polite staff. Very good meal, but, the flies drove us mad! Please management, get a fly killer unit… not always easy on the eye, but, far better than the amount of flies landing on us & our food. Or have an...opening window in the glass roof we were sitting beneath to allow them out! The staff apologised- but were not able to do anything.More

Good food, with good size portions but more importantly very friendly staff providing a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

6 of us ate Sunday lunch here yesterday. Good size portions and lovely food. I had the Southern Fried Chicken to start which was really excellent followed by chicken breast with creamed potatoes and veg. Celebrated my wife’s birthday here with a very nice lunch. Good quality and generous portion sizes. I like the fact that they had a local beer alongside the usual bottles and cocktails. Service was very friendly and efficient. Bright surroundings with interesting decor. I would...recommend to a friend without hesitation. Maybe a little pricey to deserve all five stars, but very good nonetheless.More
